Hergiswil Glassworks

The «Glasi» is Switzerland's oldest glassworks and offers tours explaining its history. Visitors can play on glass instruments, observe optical phenomena and learn all about the latest applications that this ancient material lends itself to.

Visitors are guided through a fascinating cabinet of illusions to experience, as in a time machine, the highs and lows of the glassworks’ 190-year history. The Council of Europe declared the Glasi "one of Europe’s best museums” in 1996. Discover, interact with and experience glass in all its facets.
